My sincere apologies if anybody feels I've arranged this tune to death. I came across it notated in 5/8 time throughout (with no upbeat). I just couldn't get it to work that way, so I changed it into alternating 2/4 and 6/8 bars. Maybe it isn't "authentic" Venezuelan folk music anymore, but it sure sounds great!
