Les Bouffons is an old dance from the 16th Century. I wrote down this very simple version as a beginner's piece for my Irish banjo site and then I figured it's a good beginner's piece for other instruments as well. Here it is in A major, a key well suited for most stringed instruments and also for piano, but perhaps not as easy on a wind instrument.
