You don't have to link to Musica Viva to get listed in The Free Sheet Music Directory. But I can think of at least four good reasons for you to do it:- Good, old-fashioned courtesy
I link to you, you link to me, or something like that. The Sheet Music Directory isn't really a public web directory. It's more like a normal link page that just grew too large. - Give your visitors good links
They'll thank you for it. - Help The Sheet Music Directory to grow
For some reason there seems to be difficult for a free sheet music site to get a good ranking at the search engines (that's the main reason why I did this work in the first place). This means that it is vitally important to all of us to support alternative promotion channels like this. The better known The Sheet Music Directory is, the more visitors you get! (Besides, if this doesn't work well enough, I might well discard the whole project.) - Make me feel good
Though I will list your site anyway, I am of course much more positively disposed towards people who link to my site.
Still, as I said, I will not exclude sites that does not give a backlink, so do whatever you like.Frank
