There's something called copyright laws. Basically they say that the Big Guys in the music industry get their fat part and that the poor losers who wrote and played the music get some crumbles.

I don't say I follow the law all the time, but I always heeds the elleventh commandement:

Thou shall not get caugth.

Musica Viva is BIG! More people come here than to the three closest competitors put together! And big means visible. Copyright agencies all over the world keep a close watch on this site. (It's not something I believe, I know - some of them are nice enough to send me an email every now and then. ;-)

Now, imagine I liked you (that's you personally) I decided to post some music of your favourite band here just to be nice to you.
It wouldn't have helped you at all. They'd a' come and close down the whole site so fast you'd never have time to come to get your music anyway.

So what's the point?
