Introduction
The Tenor Banjo WebRing is a webring for sites with content about the tenor banjo.
The ring is still new, so there aren't many members yet, but it should grow as more webmasters discover the advantages of webrings.The ring has a twin sister, the Plectrum Banjo WebRing. Sites with general banjo- or fourstringed banjo-content, should consider joining both rings. Sites that are relevant to both rings are welcome to join them both!
For a site to be accepted to the ring, it has to meet some requirements. You can click here to read the requirements in detail - here is a short summary:
- have content relevant to the ring (yes, I know that should be obvious, but you should have seen some of the submissions I have to reject!),
- be reasonably cross-platform and cross-browser compatible,

The purpose of The Tenor Banjo WebRing is to help making information about the tenor banjo available to the web population. Basically the rules are there to ensure that the member sites really have relevant content, and that they are available to everybody on the internet!- Content
The site must have some considerable content related to the tenor banjo. Relevant sites may be be:- Information sites about the tenor banjo
- Instructional sites
- Tabs/midis/mp3s/sheet music sites
- Players' home pages and fan sites
- Band's home pages and fan sites
- Manufacturers and retailers of tenor banjo relevant products
- The webring banner
The webring banner must be included on the page that was submitted to the ring. If you don't want the banner on your main page, you can create a special webring entry page for ring submissions.
To ensure that the banner works properly, it has to be added axactly as instructed. - Encoding
A member of the Tenor Banjo WebRing, should be available to the whole web community. That means:- The site must not be browser-specific. It must at least be readable with any version of the following browsers:
- Netscape Navigator
- Internet Explorer
- Opera
- Konquerer
- Safari
- iCab
- JavaApplets
- JavaScript
- Audiofiles, midifiles and videoclips that start automatically
- Frames
- Cascading stylesheets
- Tables
- Imagemaps
- Layers
- Floating frames
- Browser specific tags
- The site must be reasonably fast-loading. As a rule of thumb the content of the main page (including all graphics etc.) should not exceed 150 KB.
- The site must not be browser-specific. It must at least be readable with any version of the following browsers:

The Tenor Banjo WebRing is run by me, Frank Nordberg. I reserve the right to exclude any site I find unsuitable for the ring for any reason - or with no reason at all.
