Intermediate lute solo.

This is the horn signal used by the cavallery of Naples during the 17th century. It has become a rather well-known guitar piece(!) "Con dos Clarines" means "with two trumpets", but other instruments works just as well.

Playing baroque music on a renaissance lute might seem a bit strange at first, but there's nothing wrong about it really. The instrument was in use in Italy throughout the period. It just aquired more and more extra bass strings and eventually changed name to archlute.
