Guiseppe Sammartini (1693-1770) was an oboist and composer. Born in Italy he spent most of his days in London.
This sonata was originally written for two violins and continuo, but it is equally suitable for recorders, flutes or oboes.
I have made a rather simple continuo realisation for a keyboard instrument, but the accompagnist should really try to make his (or her) own part.l
